*Customers will be charged a $100 cancelation fee and issued a full refund or credit with 2 weeks notice of cancellation. With anything less than 2 weeks notice, customers will receive a 50% refund. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged full price.
**Any service call for repairs or issues not related to mechanical problems will be a minimum charge of $100.
Boats are for operational use DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY.
We offer single day bookings in July ONLY, on Lake Belle Taine or East Crooked Lake. Subject to availability. Must call to reserve. All other bookings require 2 days minimum.

Our boat staging facility is located in NEVIS MN.
Yes, we provide FREE delivery and pick-up to any location within a 25-mile radius of NEVIS. For locations outside of this radius, there is an additional $5 per loaded mile fee (first 25 miles are free). We recommend using Google Maps to determine the distance from NEVIS to your boat ramp location for accurate mileage.

Any delivery or pick-up related questions should be directed to your driver. You will receive the driver’s contact information the evening before the first day of your booking.
Yes, your boat rental includes life vests. The number of life vests provided will be the same as the capacity of the watercraft. Please note that these are standard issue life vests. If you have children, please bring children’s life vests to ensure the best fit and safety.
We will need to be in contact with you while you are at the lake. Please ensure you have provided a phone number that you will have access to. Expect to receive a confirmation text clarifying the exact delivery time and location on the evening prior to the first day of your booking. Our delivery driver usually texts around 7 pm. The text will come from an unknown number as our driver will be using his personal phone.
Yes, tubes and ropes can be added to your rental at an additional charge. Please call to add them to your booking. And yes, we also have paddle boards available!
There will be an additional charge to your card on file at the end of the booking for any fuel used. We deliver the boat with a full tank of fuel and refill it directly after pick-up. You will be charged for the EXACT amount of fuel used, at current fuel prices. This charge will be reflected on your credit card after your boat is returned and the booking is closed. We do not charge any additional refuel fees.
In the event of any damages, most commonly propeller damage, we will charge the card on file for these damages. The driver will inspect the boat with you at the time of pickup. The charges are $300 if the propeller needs to be replaced and $150 if the propeller needs to be repaired.

Yes, we are happy to assist during times that our schedule permits. For this service, there is a $100 service fee, plus any additional expenses.
Yes! If you rent a boat on Leech Lake, you can meet us at one of three places: Erickson’s Landing, Walker Park, or Whipolt Beach. Be sure to let us know during booking that you want your boat delivered to Leech Lake.

We rented a pontoon from Park Rapids Boat Rental for our family vacation in early June 2022. They have a website to book on but we also called them with questions. The website was helpful to get an idea of the different boats available and Sadie did a great job explaining the advantages of each boat. We worked with Jason for our delivery and pick up. He was flexible and on time. The boat was in great condition and we had no troubles with it. We were very happy with each step of the process and would highly recommend contacting them for a rental.

I booked a large pontoon with PRBR back in May. I selected this business because their prices were much better than the rental places in Walker and they included delivery. Sadie was great to work with. She told us we could get a large discount if we rented one more day so took that deal.
Jason dropped off the pontoon at a public landing and explained how everything worked. The pontoon was very well appointed and in excellent condition. Everything worked great for the nine days we used it.
I mistakenly thought we had the pontoon one more day so I didn’t make arrangements to drop it off on the right day. Sadie and Jason were very forgiving and didn’t make me feel guilty. I will definitely be renting from them again next year.

Sadie was so kind, polite, professional, and fast in responding – it was a pleasure to work with her to set up the rental, to change aspects of our reservation, and to know what to expect about the drop off and pick up. Jason delivered and picked up the boat – he was on time (early in fact), very nice, thorough in giving us instructions, and explaining the signatures needed to rent the boat. Both Sadie and Jason were prompt in responding to my texts and calls, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with them! I will absolutely will rent a boat from Park Rapids Boat Rental again!
